HERBERT HARVEY, JR.

Herbert Harvey, Jr., affectionately called “Harvey,” has been working in the HVAC industry since 1972, servicing and installing heaters, boilers, heat pumps and air conditioners. He has run his own HVAC operations since 1980, and since 1985 has been a factory authorized service representative  serving industry leaders such as Bradford White, State Industries, A.O. Smith, Rheem Manufacturing,  American Water Heaters, and numerous others in their residential and commercial water heater lines.  He is known in his home state of Delaware as the person that installing plumbers turn to, to solve their water heater installation problems.

Although his formal training is in the HVAC and electrical trades, Harvey is a certified Adult Education instructor of all levels of plumbing at Delcastle Vocational Technical School, where he taught full time for 8yrs.  For the last 3 years he has been a full time substitute, which allows him more time for his commitment to family, church and community.  One of the successes he is most proud of is, that he has been able to see many of his students acquire their plumbing license and open their own business.  Two of his students have even become plumbing teachers in the Philadelphia Region.

As for himself, Harvey takes pride in attending as many training seminars as he can fit in to keep himself abreast of current industry developments.  He has a State of Delaware Professional Master HVACR License and is a licensed heating & air conditioning contractor in the City of Wilmington, various municipalities, New Castle County and throughout the State of Delaware.
